SBACO with the support of UNDEF hosts and facilitates the Galkaio women’s political participation forum formation with the collaboration with various stakeholders in the project locality, especially those CSOs that shall have been trained on advocacy and women’s political participation. The Objective of the forum is engaging and sensitizing the general public on women issues and on the rights of women and how to increase the acceptance of women in leadership and target perception and behavioral change towards women in political participation. .
The two district level women’s forum will have quarterly meeting for the implementation and coordination of the UNDEF/SBACO project activities. It is expected to have at least 40 people per meeting per district hoping that all trained 340 beneficiaries representing different groups of the trained beneficiaries will participate and exchange ideas for 8 quarterly meeting 4 per state.
SBACO will provide day-to-support and document the proceedings in the discussions. The forum will also discuss the developments, including the progress made in upholding the rights of the women and recognizing their role in leadership. Key speakers, especially women in high
